Hummingbird Watercolor
I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I’ve painted anything! But today I was reminded how much joy it brings me with this watercolor of a little hummingbird and blooms.
I had thought about painting more leaves around the bottom but I kinda like the simplicity of it, don’t you? I always want to keep fiddling with my paintings, I gotta learn to just leave it be!
I used 4 paint colors:
- Lemon Yellow
- Leaf Green
- Magenta
- Sea Blue
You can do this too! It doesn’t cost anything to follow the Let’s Make Art with Sarah Cray videos if you already have some watercolor supplies. I also have a link to their website in the left sidebar.
If you’re interested in getting monthly kits delivered to your door, you can click here to get $5.00 off your first kit. I’m signed up for their monthly subscription box which comes with the supplies needed (paint, paper, outline, graphite paper, instructions) for 4 watercolor projects. If you have questions please leave me know in the comments below!
If you like adorable, check out the Seahorses I painted a few months ago.
And as always, if you try painting this yourself, please send me a pic of it!
I now offer my watercolor art on home décor and accessories! Please visit my Peace4Patti online store.
