Monochromatic Birch Trees Watercolor

This was my first attempt at painting something with only one color and I really love how it turned out.

I admit, I wasn’t able to achieve the rough texture effect, so the bark looks a little too smooth. But I really like the how the white trees eventually pop out from the background.
