Seashells Watercolor

Share

You would think someone like me who lives near the ocean would have tried painting seashells before now! But this was my first attempt.

I finished painting a hummingbird and I loved the colors left on the palette. So instead of using the colors that the seashell tutorial suggested, i reused the hummingbird colors.

These seashells were painted using wet on wet and wet on dry techniques, using these 4 paint colors:

  • Lemon Yellow
  • Leaf Green
  • Magenta
  • Sea Blue

You can do this too! It doesn’t cost anything to follow the Let’s Make Art with Sarah Cray videos if you already have some watercolor supplies. I also have a link to their website in the left sidebar.

Just click here to get $5.00 off your first kit if interested in getting monthly kits delivered to your door. I’m signed up for their monthly subscription box which comes with the supplies needed (paint, paper, outline, graphite paper, instructions) for 4 watercolor projects.
